Tuesday 10 September 2024

Guernsey based Ogier Partner Matthew Newman has been recognised as a Fellow of INSOL International after recently graduating from the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professionals' prestigious Global Insolvency Practice Course.

He is the third Ogier R&I specialist to graduate from INSOL's Global Insolvency Practice course, with INSOL Fellows Marc Kish, in the Cayman Islands, and Justin Davis, from Hong Kong, already recognised as leaders in the profession.

Known as "the lead insolvency lawyer in Guernsey", according to Chambers UK 2024, Mr Newman’s practice encompasses commercial and financial dispute resolution, with a special focus on contentious insolvency and restructuring.
