Gower Financial Services was invited by the Guernsey Investment and Funds Association to teach their younger members about managing money.
Several financial planning experts joined an event organised by the GIFA academy.
The talk was aimed at students in GIFA's education programme aged 16 through to 30. Paul McCormick, Susie Brown and Jean-Pierre Payne shared their expertise with young people entering the fund sector in Guernsey.
"It was a pleasure to present to a cohort of fully-engaged young people," said Mr McCormick. "We hope that they picked up some good financial habits to have for life."
The lessons included the management of debt, allocating disposable income, and an interactive quiz testing their understanding of day-to-day financial products and services.
"I'm pleased that this group of young people have taken the opportunity to learn about how to manage their money in an effective way," concluded the Chair of GIFA's Education Committee, Jason Liddy.
