Praxis has been awarded the Corporate Services Team of the Year award at the ICSA Guernsey Awards dinner.
ICSA: The Chartered Governance Institute - is the professional body for governance and has more than 500 members and students in the Bailiwick. Its annual awards recognise the achievements of the island’s governance professionals and businesses.
It was one of two awards for the company secretarial team, with Corporate Secretarial Supervisor Gemma Woods recognised for her continuing development with The One to Watch Award.
Managing Director of Praxis Fund Services Limited, David Le Boutillier, said the team success came following a successful period of on-boarding new clients combined with a number of the team members’ ongoing professional development.
"Our Company Secretarial service provision is highly recommended and praised by non-executive directors, clients, brokers and other third parties. Both non-executive directors and clients have commended us for the quality of service and consistency the team provide. I’m delighted that their teamwork and individual dedication to ongoing professional development has been recognised."
Paul Smith, ICSA Guernsey Chair Branch, added: "The strength of Praxis’ nomination lay in the fact that they received multiple nominations from clients and colleagues demonstrating their excellent skills both in the efficient take-on of new clients and servicing of existing clients.
"With independent thought leadership, adding value to the clients’ business and working efficiently to deliver a high level of service in sometimes difficult situations being attributes recognised by their clients."
The Corporate Secretarial team of nine is directed by Janine Lewis and managed by Matt Falla, who collected the award on behalf of the team during the ICSA Guernsey Annual Awards 2019 dinner on Friday 14 November.
