GIFA "refresh" brand

Wednesday 08 May 2019

The fund management association has changed its name from Guernsey Investment Fund Association to Guernsey Investment & Funds Association.

It was announced at GIFA’s recent AGM that GIFA is refreshing its brand. It comes at a time when the association is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and at the start of this year welcomed the Guernsey Investment Managers & Stockbrokers Association (GIMSA) to their membership.

GIFA, the recognised voice of the funds industry in Guernsey, has updated the name and logo as well as a new colour palette for future marketing. GIFA’s recently elected chairman, Christopher Jehan explained:

“We’re now the Guernsey Investment & Funds Association, which better reflects the firms and individuals GIFA represents following the merger with GIMSA. During the development of GIFA’s refreshed brand identity, we set out to retain the heritage of the association while modernising the look and feel.”

GIFA is taking a soft-launch approach to its brand refresh, which will involve transitioning to the new branding over the coming weeks.

“Our investment in the refreshed brand sends a strong message to international investors of our confidence that Guernsey’s fund industry will continue to be at the forefront of fund innovation and evolution.” said Mr Jehan.
