Islands Energy Group, which is the parent company of Guernsey Gas, has announced a new Chief Executive Officer.
David Cruddace has taken up the role in succession to Ian Plenderleith, previously Group Managing Director of IEG, who recently left the business.
On Mr Cruddace's appointment, a spokesman for IEG stated simply that Mr Cruddace "has extensive experience, having held senior management positions in a number of businesses."
The International Energy Group owns Guernsey Gas, Jersey Gas and Manx Gas in the Isle of Man.
Mr Plenderleith was the boss of all three utilities and regularly spent time in the Channel Islands despite being based in the Isle of Man.
However he reportedly stepped down following a row over pandemic funding with Jersey's Government.
