A Funeral Director at Beckfords has been awarded his Diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration.
The exam, run by the National Association of Funeral Directors, is designed to test funeral directors on everything from practical care, personalisation, legislation and health and safety, to different funeral rites and understanding bereavement and grief.
Zac Hannis, who has been with Beckfords for 6 years, has added this to his previous exam successes and remains keen to study further.
I do enjoy the challenges of studying for professional qualifications” he said. “But more than that I want to ensure that Beckfords is best placed to provide our clients with the funeral they want for themselves or their loved ones. How people view funerals is evolving and it’s important that we can accommodate any requests in a way that is respectful, legal and in accordance with their wishes.
Beckfords Managing Director Jane Duquemin said: “Zac epitomises the Beckfords philosophy. He is totally committed to providing families with a service that combines competence, care and compassion. He has also been keen to implement new ideas and use new technology, such as the online streaming of services."
