Four Paws has been named as the joint winner of a national Kennel of the Year Award.
The well-industry award was presented virtually this month by the Pet Industry Federation, the UK trade association for pet businesses.
Four Paws submitted a written entry to PIF in February outlining its commerical success, staff training, health and safety, animal welfare and entrepreneurial flair.
After hearing that they had been shortlisted, they then had to prepare a two minute video about the business, which included a tour of the premises and why they thought they should win.
"This is fantastic news for us as a small business, especially after such a challenging year," said Candice from Four Paws.

"It’s great that the team and the business are getting the recognition they deserve."
Owner Jessica added: "Thank you to my team, and to all our customers who have been nothing but supportive."
Staff members Laura, Miya and Ramona all agreed that the award is a "big deal" for the team and reflects the hard work and dedication to their job.
"This award will only motivate us to achieve more success in the future," added Ramona.
