Five members of Ogier's private wealth and dispute resolution teams have been named in ePrivateClient's 'Top 35 under 35 in the Channel Islands' list.

Richard Laignel, James Angus, Katie Baxter, Alice Bricogne and Chris Hards were recognised in the prestigious list, which aims to introduce and promote the "rising stars" of the private client profession.

Ms Bricogne was named IFC Senior Associate of the Year at the 2018 Citywealth Future Leaders Awards and is a Senior Associate in Ogier's Guernsey Private Wealth team. She advises both corporates and individuals on all matters relating to trusts and foundations in both contentious and non-contentious contexts. This is the third time she has been named in one of ePrivateClient's 'Top 35 under 35' lists and she has also been included in the Private Client 2018 'Ones to Watch' list.

Mr Hards is the second member of the Guernsey Private Wealth team to be named in the list. He is a 2018 Citywealth Future Leader and a Senior Associate, advising on all aspects of trust and foundation law to individuals, fiduciaries and other service providers. This is the second time he has been included in the prestigious list.

Meanwhile, Mr Laignel and Ms Baxter from Jersey's Private Wealth team were also given a mention, along with Mr Angus from the island's Dispute Resolution team.

The judging process was undertaken by senior members of PAM Insight's editorial team. The panel considered each individual's achievements over the past year and the number of nominations as well as career progression, the quality of nominations and the seniority of the people who made them.

"I am delighted to see many of our rising arts in private wealth receiving this recognition," said Global Head of Private Wealth James Campbell. "At Ogier we believe very strongly in supporting the development of our people and in rewarding and recognising excellence, and the results of this approach are clear to see.

"Richard, James, Katie, Alice and Chris continue to develop very strong reputations in the industry and their inclusion in the ePrivateClient 'Top 35 under 35 in the Channel Islands' is thoroughly well-deserved."
