The Polygon Collective has strengthened its insurance brokerage services across the Channel Islands with the appointment of Henry Mowbray and Grant Mitchenall to the board of Vantage Insurance Brokers Limited in Jersey.

The Collective said their appointments will further strengthen the group’s ability to support businesses and individuals across the Channel Islands.

Mr Mowbray has over 20 years’ insurance experience, initially within the Captive industry and then as Head of Insurance and Business Continuity for Specsavers before his appointment as Managing Director of Vantage Insurance Brokers Limited in Guernsey.

Mr Mitchenall, Head of Financial Products, also brings with him a wealth of insurance experience, specialising in financial markets, starting with 23 years in the Lloyds Insurance market and then as Managing Director of Heritage Insurance Brokers Limited for 17 years.

Both join Sandra Fernandes, Managing Director of Vantage Insurance Brokers Limited, who heads up the Jersey office.

"I am delighted to welcome both Henry and Grant to the board, and excited about what this means for the growth and future of Vantage Insurance Brokers Limited," she said.

Polygon Group Chairman, Martin Belcher said: "The appointment of Henry and Grant is an important landmark for the Vantage Insurance Brokers board, enabling the business to strengthen its governance and continue its expansion within the Channel Islands which focusses on offering specialist and bespoke insurance solutions aimed at high-net-worth individuals, family offices, as well as trust companies and the wider offshore financial services sector.

"The requirement to have a solid team, leadership and client service across both islands has been a key driver of the continued expansion plans of the Polygon Collective, with further exciting plans ahead across our other activities within the group."
