Do you know a JB?

A new establishment is offering free drinks to anyone in Guernsey, over the age of 18, with the initials JB.

The first 100 to prove that those are their initials to the new JB Parker's at Moore's Hotel will receive a complimentary wine card.

The Sarnia Hotel Group recently re-launched the former Library Bar at Moores Hotel as JB Parker’s Bar & Cellar as a tribute to Jack Buller Parker who effectively founded the group when he first leased Moores from Bucktrouts in 1956.

To mark the reopening, the bar will present its first 100 guests with the initials JB, and over the age of 18, with a pre-loaded £10 wine card that can be used to purchase a drink from the innovative wine dispenser located in the bar’s rediscovered cellar. A soft drink option will also be available.

David Legoupil, wine expert and manager of JB Parker’s, said: “We have designed the bar to be a modern and accessible British tavern. While we’re looking forward to be able to share our success with some of our JB namesakes, there is something here for everybody.”

Guernsey residents who have the initials JB and who are over 18 should take proof of identity to JB’s to claim their complimentary wine card.
