This year’s Battle of the School Bans, sponsored by the BWCI Group, had an 80s theme with an iconic car from the period positioned at the venue space.
The Back to the Future car was stationed in the Beau Sejour foyer for the competition, run by Thirst Music School.
The sold-out event offered young people between Years 7 to 11 to represent their school in an evening of live entertainment. The winning band will receive a prize of £1,000 plus an additional £500 for their school.
Diana Simon, Managing Partner at BWCI, said: “The team at Thirst Music School have incredible energy and creativity. This is our fourth year of supporting them and they have clearly exceeded all expectations by securing the DeLorean car."
The event took place on 3 and 4 February.
