22 students from across the world have started client works in tax and audit sectors with Deloitte's Channel Island offices.
The joiners have travelled from Jersey, the UK, Estonia, Cyprus and Zimbabwe to begin their training with the firm.
"The large number of graduates joining us this year is a testament to the fantastic training and career progression that Deloitte offers, coupled with the attractions of island life," said Partner, John Clacy. "Our business in both islands continues to flourish and it is critical to bring in the next generation of talent to meet the demands of that growth."
The new trainees hold degrees in a variety of subjects including Physics and Pharmacy to Law and Politics.
Nine graduates are relocating to join the Guernsey team, including Keller Pryde who recently left the University of Edinburgh with a masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Alistair Blaza who read Economics at the University of Lancaster, Jana Skinjova who read Accounting with Management at the University of Westminster, Matthew Armstrong who studied Business Management at the University of Exeter and Harvey Appleby who read Jurisprudence at the University of Oxford.
Joining them will be Antigone Kyriakide who has a degree in Statistics, Economics and Finance from University College London, Ashkay Nagda who studied Accounting for Management at Ashton University, Kudzai Nyawata who has a degree is Accounting and Finance and Financial Economics from the University of Bedfordshire, and Azhar Khan who attended Aston University reading Economics and Management.
"Deloitte offers a unique experience because of its people, and our trainees' diverse academic backgrounds and specialism reflects our desire to have the best and brightest minds who all bring something different to our team and clients," Mr Clacy continued.
All trainees will complete a month of office and college-based learning, ensuring they settle into the business and build strong relationships with their mentors, appraisers and 'buddies' before commencing client work.
