A corporate and funds Lawyer, who started his career with Carey Olsen in Guernsey, has been welcomed back to the firm at its office in Singapore.

Andrew Tually began working in the Guernsey office in 2007 before relocating to Carey Olsen in Singapore in 2017.

Following a year with one of the leading commercial law firms in Australia, Mr Tually is returning to Carey Olsen's corporate and funds practice as Counsel to provide specialist Cayman Islands and Guernsey legal advice to the firm's growing client base in Asia.

Mr Tually has more than 12 years' experience in connection with the structuring, formation and provision of ongoing advice to open-ended and closed-ended collective investment schemes, including private equity, real estate and infrastructure funds and hedge funds. He has also advised on high value transactions including court-sanctioned schemes of arrangement, group restructures and migrations.

"Expanding the firm's presence in Asia is key to Carey Olsen's growth strategy and along with the lateral hire of Hong Kong Corporate Partner Michael Padarin and the subsequent launch of our Hong Kong corporate and finance practice, Andrew's return further strengthens the depth of expertise we can provide our clients and their intermediaries in the region," said Managing Partner in Singapore, Anthony McKenzie.

"Carey Olsen is the only offshore law firm with a fully-staffed Channel Islands desk in Asia, meaning we can offer our Asia-based clients a complete suite of multi-jurisdictional legal services in their time zone."

Head of corporate in the firm's Guernsey office, Ben Morgan added: "We are delighted to have Andrew back in the team. His expertise will enable us to service the ever-growing demand for specialist fund, corporate and finance advice in Asia, particularly in respect of complex cross-border transactions."
