Compliance expert joins offshore law firm

An experienced regulatory and compliance manager has moved from the international wealth management sector to Guernsey's legal sector.

Kyle Campbell has been appointed Head of Compliance and Risk Management at Ferbrache & Farrell, having gained a decade of experience at Utmost Guernsey, where he previously worked as the Regulatory Compliance Manager.

Mr Campbell says his experience ensuring effective regulatory compliance within the insurance, private equity and investment industries, across eight jurisdictions, has prepared him for his new role. 

"I am looking forward to challenging myself in the legal industry, having worked in finance for the last 10 years," he said. "In my previous role, I was responsible for interpreting and implementing laws, regulations and guidance for eight jurisdictions, which will help in my new role."

Mr Campbell is a member of the International Compliance Association and has achieved two ICA diplomas in Governance, Risk and Compliance and AML/CFT. He is also a certified specialist in data protection, corporate governance and conduct risk.
