DLM Architects has expanded its technical team with the addition of a RIBA Chartered Architect.
Local man David Sherwill Zopf has joined the firm as a Project Architect after gaining experience in the private residential sector in the UK and Channel Islands.
He achieved BA Architecture from South Bank University in 2013 and went on to achieve the Advanced Diploma in Architecture in 2021 at Oxford Brookes before obtaining chartered status.
Mr Zopf has also offered tutoring and examination for the Royal Institute of British Architects.
He wants to offer similar educational guidance in Guernsey and inspire the next generation of talent: “Joining DLM is an opportunity for me to collaborate with talented individuals and contribute to the ongoing creation of innovative, influential, and impactful architectural designs that leave a lasting legacy,” he said.
Managing Director David De La Mare said the new recruit shares their passion for details and design.
“Our belief at DLM is that good design adds value to every project, regardless of size or complexity, and it is important our whole team share this passion. David’s contemporary yet historically sensitive approach has seen him collaborate on award-winning architectural projects in Guernsey and overseas, and we are excited to have him on board,” he said.
