Carey Olsen trusts and private wealth partners Russell Clark and Natasha Kapp will speak alongside more than 20 other leading industry experts at the International Trusts & Private Client Forum in Guernsey on 12 March.

The Forum is now in its eighth year, and will bring together key international and local speakers to discuss the hottest topics affecting the industry.

As part of the events's focus on 'how to protect your clients in times of increased scrutiny', Mr Clark will discuss amendments to the Guernsey Trusts Law and what the impact of those changes could be, while Ms Kapp will present an international private client update referencing recent high-profile cases.

Other sessions will cover Brexit and the effect on the Channel Islands; the future of offshore; data protection in a trusts context; helping families to prepare for reputational risk and whether anti-Bartlett clauses are a good thing for trusts.

Ms Kapp said: "Carey Olsen is always excited to participate and support events such as the International Trusts & Private Client Forum which bring together so many leading trusts experts in one place to discuss, debate and examine the latest developments in our industry."

Carey Olsen is lead sponsor for the event at the OGH on 12 March.
