Corporate lawyers from Carey Olsen have advised the majority shareholder of the C5 Alliance Group on the sale of the business to BDO in Jersey.
C5, which provides technology services to businesses across the Channel Islands, was established 19 years ago and employs 200 people in the Channel Islands. In recent years, its growth has included the acquisition of Cronus Consulting in 2012, ITEX Holdings in 2013 and Altius CI in 2016.
The Carey Olsen team advising C5's majority shareholder was led by partners Alex Ohlsson and James Willmott, who were assisted by senior associate Katherine Tresca and associate Jamie Purdy. KPMG also advised the seller.
BDO's acquisition of C5 sees the BDO brand grow to employ more than 350 people across Jersey and Guernsey.
