Ambitious plans to grow the project delivery team at C5 Alliance, Guernsey will be led by experienced management consultant Chris Ash, recently appointed as Head of Project Delivery.
Over the past 15 years Mr Ash has been a director of Global Vision International in Costa Rica and Guernsey followed by a management consultant, firstly at BDO Greenlight then KPMG Channel Islands, where he added to his experience advising clients at senior executive board level.
“The BDO acquisition, which created a unified firm providing strategy, consulting, digital, technology and managed services, added to the attraction of working for C5. They are making a big investment in digital and IT and it’s a fantastic opportunity for me to take responsibility for how I manage my team. I have been tasked with increasing the headcount and increasing our portfolio of work,” he said.
Mr Ash said that much of the company’s work involved complex project management and business analysis around new regulations impacting on the financial services industry, including FATCA, CRS and GDPR. However, there was a growing and concentrated focus on change management.
“There’s quite a lot of merger & acquisitions activity in the Channel Islands and businesses are investing more in change. Digital transformation is a key part of organisational change and that’s where C5 can provide critical support. We advise, build and run – consulting with COOs on anything outside business as usual, which may then lead to designing and building a technological solution, testing it and going live.”
C5 Alliance Guernsey Managing Director, Marc Lainé said:
“Chris comes to C5 Alliance with a strong track record for management, consultancy and business analysis. These attributes make him well suited to heading up our project delivery team where he’ll understand the requirements of C-suite clients and work with his team to provide solutions.”
