BWCI is delighted to have signed up to the Guernsey Employment Trust (GET) Disability Charter.
Part of the commitment includes providing training for all staff on disability awareness, which will be provided by GET to BWCI to educate the staff further.
The company hopes to demonstrate its commitment to the nine aspects of the charter and further embed the culture of embracing diversity and inclusion at BWCI.
BWCI already have a close working relationship with GET and have employed staff through them.
Alison Hawkins, BWCI’s Senior Manager, HR said: “We are really pleased to have secured our commitment to equal opportunities in employment in Guernsey by signing the GET charter, and are keen to bring to life the commitments we have made a pledge towards. We look forward to continuing our working relationship with GET, and contributing towards change in the island.”
