Two young mathematicians have received BWCI's student bursary awards for 2019.

To celebrate the firm's 40th anniversary, BWCI has this year awarded bursaries to two students, who are Billy Ogier and Jean-Luc Parker.

Billy, a former Elizabeth College student, achieved a clean sweep of A*s in his A levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Chemistry. He will be heading off to study Mathematics at the University of Durham.

Jean-Luc is in the final year of his Mathematics degree at the University of Exeter, having studied for his A levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Economics at the Guernsey Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre.

BWCI’s Senior HR Manager Alison Rimington said: “We were delighted to receive such a high standard of application for our bursaries and we look forward to supporting both Billy and Jean Luc in their future studies, as well as providing them with some practical experience in a working environment”.
