Butterfield appoints Daniel Bisson as vice president

Wealth manager Daniel Bisson has been appointed Vice President, Wealth Structuring at Butterfield Trust as the business develops its global footprint.

Mr Bisson will focus particularly on business development in the Americas. He is joining Butterfield from RBC Wealth Management, where he held senior roles over the past nine years including Managing Director, Wealth Preservation & Family Governance.

Mr Bisson said: "Having worked in a number of offshore jurisdictions, including Bermuda and Jersey, I’m looking forward to working with Butterfield's highly regarded fiduciary specialists and helping to enhance the Group's profile across the world and assist with its continued growth."

Mr Bisson, who was educated at the Guernsey Grammar school, is a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as gardening and playing golf.
