Brooks Macdonald International has raised nearly £5,000 for Guernsey charity Safer through a champagne afternoon tea event.
The woman-only event was an opportunity for attendees to openly discuss managing wealth.
Safer supports and empowers anyone who is experiencing domestic abuse.
Safer Chair, Fiona Naftel, spoke at the event about projects the charity is working on, including a new refuge and an education campaign.
“I’m really grateful to the team at Brooks Macdonald, not only for the financial support through this event, but also for giving us the opportunity to talk about the prevelance of domestic abuse in the local community,” said Ms Naftel.

Business Development Manager, Jayne Warren, said the event was well placed in line with International Women’s Day.
“This event provided a platform to explore some of the challenges women can encounter when it comes to managing wealth and, with the support of our colleagues in Guernsey, empower them to take control of their finances,” she said.
“At the same time, I’m really pleased that we were able to support Safer, which undertakes crucial work in Guernsey.
“My thanks go to Fiona at Safer, the team at Les Cotils and our guest speaker Dame Mary Perkins for their support in making this event such a success.”
