Aztec appoints new Group Head of Real Assets

Thursday 01 February 2024

The Aztec Group has appointed Claire Stapleton as Group Head of Real Assets, with a remit to provide group-wide service delivery oversight to its real assets clients.

Based in Kilkenny, Ireland, she will lead the firm's real assets offering and will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategy, enhancing the operational efficiency and effectiveness and driving the growth and innovation of the Group’s real assets services.

“I am delighted to join the reputable and experienced Real Assets team at Aztec," she said.

"I was attracted to the business by its compelling vision and solid values - not just as another service provider, but as a truly relationship-led business that continually invests in its people and technology.

“Getting to know the team, it became clear how its collaborative, people-focused culture also delivers for clients in spades. I’m excited to be joining Aztec at this pivotal time in its journey.”

James Gow, Group Managing Director – Markets, at Aztec Group, said Ms Stapleton's appointment follows the Group’s recent move into Ireland, with the opening of its offices in Dublin and Kilkenny in March 2023.

“I am pleased to welcome Claire to the team. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise in real assets and private equity fund administration, as well as a proven track record of leading and managing large and complex teams across multiple jurisdictions. Claire’s appointment reflects our commitment to investing in our people and our capabilities, and to providing our clients with the highest level of service and support.

“With Claire’s local expertise in Ireland, combined with her distinct global perspective, we are confident that we can continue to deliver on our promise of unrivalled service quality and value to our real estate clients, while building on the success of our new presence in Ireland.”
