Independent director services business Altair is growing its Guernsey office with the appointment of a new Consultant.

Andrew Brook has moved to the island from Bermuda to take on the role, bringing with him 30 years' of experience in financial services.

He specialises in audit and risk, international banking and alternative investment funds.

For the last five years, Mr Brook as been undertaking a portfolio of non-executive board rules including chairing investment, audit and risk committees. Prior to that, he spent 25 years with PwC, where he was made a Partner in Bermuda and led the Asset Management and Banking practices.

Mr Brook has also worked in PwC London where he did asset management, banking audit and advisory work in the UK, CIS and Malaysia.

Throughout his career, he has worked across multiple jurisdictions including Cayman, Mauritius and the US. He is also a Fellow of the ICAEW.
