Employment & Social Security are prioritising claims made through the new Hardship Fund to ensure that support can be given quickly to people who have already been impacted.

Customers are asked to please avoid where possible visiting Edward T Wheadon House in person as this will help us all maintain social distancing and provide a safer space for the vulnerable members of our community who don’t have access to phones or e-mail.

Only make contact once - All new claims for sickness benefit, unemployment benefit, income support and the hardship fund are being handled by either calling (01481) 732516, or alternatively emailing hardshipfund@gov.gg.

Please do not contact teams individually as this takes up time and we want to process claims as quickly as possible.
