As Guernsey moves into Phase 4 more businesses and organisations are beginning to operate and as a result, islanders are returning to work.

Therefore, people who are receiving income support or a hardship payment as a result of COVID-19 are being reminded to inform Employment & Social Security if their circumstances have changed. This may include an increase in their income since they made their claim, or returning to work.

Customers can inform Income Support of any changes by emailing incomesupport@gov.gg or by calling 01481 732508. Edward T. Wheadon House is currently closed to members of the public.

People who were receiving financial support before lockdown are also asked to let Income Support know if their circumstances have changed. A copy of their wage slip will only need to be submitted if it has changed since it was last provided.

This can be submitted through the Guernsey Uploads app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.

Instructions on how to use the app can be found HERE. Alternatively you can email incomesupport@gov.gg.
