Youth Commission celebrating summer

Sunday 14 July 2019

To celebrate two years since it merged with The HUB, today the Youth Commission is holding a Summer Family Fun Day.

The Fun Day is open to everyone and it would love both children, young people and families who are familiar with the Commission, as well as those who have never been to one of its services to come and join for a family day.

The plan is for it to show off everything they have on offer.

Commission staff said there will be a BBQ for families to enjoy whilst listening to live music from local performers, and there will be lots of free activities including inflatable archery, photo booth, pebble painting, sleeping bag races and more.

"We want to have a fun day with the community as well as raise awareness of all the positive, engaging and supportive services we have to offer," a Youth Commission spokesperson said.

"Join us on the field behind the Youth Commission at Les Ozouets Campus from 12:00 - 15:00."
