A woman has been disqualified for one year and fined £1,000 after pleading guilty to driving on numerous occasions without a licence.
Rebecca Sutton, 48, bought a car this year to make it easier to visit family members in the island.
Sutton holds a provisional drivers licence, however this had expired and she was not legally allowed to be on the roads.
On 21 July she was pulled over by Guernsey Police and failed to provide a licence or her insurance documents. She first appeared in court on 26 August, where the case was adjourned so she could get legal advice.

During sentencing, Judge Graeme McKerrell decided against activating a suspended sentence for an unrelated matter.
“I am applying exceptional leniency in this case," he told the defendant.
Instead, he extended the suspended sentence until November 2021, fined her £1,000 and disqualified her from driving for 12 months.
