Woman harassed by man at Salerie

Thursday 18 July 2019

Just after 17:00 on Tuesday a young woman was walking back to her car on Salarie Car Park when she was approached by a man from behind whose behaviour led her to report him to the police.

Guernsey Police are now appealing for any witnesses to this incident, which happened just as workers would have been returning to their cars.

The woman was not harmed, Police said, but was upset by the man's actions and behaviour.

He is described as "having a foreign accent, olive skinned, approximately late 50's, slim build, approximately 5'7 and wearing shirt, tie, waistcoat, trousers and shoes".

Anyone who may have seen what happened, or has any information in regards to the identity of the man, is urged to contact PC 152 Taylor on 725111 or to call  Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

PC Taylor also asked that if anyone knows a male matching this description who is named Florian, to contact him.
