A 10-metre tide and force six southwesterly winds will see water and debris on west coast roads this morning.
The high tide is just after 07:00, but those using coastal roads and walkways can expect spillage throughout the start of Wednesday.
Guernsey Met Office issued the amber tide warning yesterday.
It estimates these events occur between five and 10 times per year.
