Two watches, collectively worth more than £16,000 have been taken from a house in St Peter Port, with Guernsey Police treating it as a theft.

The two Rolex watches have "unlimited sentimental value" as well as their obvious financial value.

The investigating officers have posted on Facebook with an appeal for information about "two stolen Rolex watches".

The watches went missing sometime between 27 January 2019 and 24 February 2019, from an address in Les Canichers, St Peter Port.

They are a Rolex ‘Deep Sea’ watch and a Rolex ‘Submariner’ with a combined value of £16,525.

Anyone with information is asked to call CID at Guernsey Police on 725111 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
