WANTED: 'Active and charismatic 40-55-year-olds'

VisitGuernsey needs some 'active and charismatic' locals to star in their near TV commercial - with shooting due to take place early next week.

The Production Company, Partizan, which is employed by the island's tourism body to make our adverts which go on to be shown on national television, has said it needs people between 40 and 55 years old, to star in the new new TV commercial.

Previously, VisitGuernsey's television adverts have focused on the outdoor attractions in Guernsey with island hopping and family time also highlighted.

The 2016 advert, below, was filmed using a local cast, with former Guernsey resident Dawn O'Porter voicing it. 

Aside from being 'active and charismatic' and within the required age range, the only other stipulation for taking part in the new advert is that you must be available for filming for a few hours on either Monday 15, Tuesday 16 or Wednesday 17 July.
