Monday 22 July 2019

Inspectors have praised staff leadership and student behaviour at Vauvert Primary School in a recent report, which marked the school as 'Very Good'.

A team from Terry Carr Consultancy Ltd visited the school in June this year.

During that time they spoke with parents, carers and students about their experiences with the school, while working closely with the Headteacher and staff. They evaluated the school in a number of areas including leadership and management, learning and teaching, and children's successes and achievements.

The inspection team found the children to be polite, respectful and enthusiastic with a keen work ethic. Meanwhile they praised the leadership of the Headteacher, describing his vision for the students as underpinning the life and work of the school.

"I am incredibly pleased with the report's findings," said Headteacher Tim Walters. "The inspection team recognised our school's many successes and achievements, evaluating Vauvert Primary School as Very Good. This is an excellent result and a true reflection of the hard work, commitment and professionalism of all our staff, the positive support of parents and not forgetting of course our super pupils, who are a real credit to the school."

"Tim and his team have worked hard to provide students with a happy, inclusive and purposeful place to learn and I am confident the school will build on this to continue to improve education outcome for the children."
