Town Carnival returns...for the last time?

What could be the last of St Peter Port's Town Carnivals starts today, but the organisers are still hopeful it will return next year.

A jam-packed schedule of entertainment has been planned for the next two weeks, focusing on Guernsey's town centre, but with events elsewhere too.

Among the most popular acts returning to the island for a summer season are Il Destino who are among the acts performing from today, until 27 July.

 The daily schedules will be uploaded to social media, with a variety of acts on throughout the week.

Among the returning acts are the clowns. They will be performing at the Peninsula Hotel as well as on the Market terrace after the Punch n Judy shows.
