Sueco will end its relationship with Beau Sejour by the end of September, as the catering partner 'considers its future direction’.
Sueco has provided on-site catering for large and medium scale events at Beau Sejour for the past 25 years and said “as a company” it has enjoyed the variety offered by the partnership.
However, this partnership is set to end following the death of one of its original founders.
“As a company we have thoroughly enjoyed the variety of challenges and events which we have worked on in partnership with Beau Sejour over the years,” said the Senior Management Team at Sueco.
“Following the death of one of its original founders and Managing Director, Peter Yates, in 2022, the company is now taking some time to consider its future direction in respect of these large-scale event opportunities.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our previous clients, for whom we’ve catered for since the start of our agreement with Beau Sejour and wish all parties the very best for future events.”
Beau Sejour is now looking to recruit a new catering partner who would need to take on the leasehold of the current facilities.
"[Sueco] regularly catered for up to 450 people for corporate dinner/dances and provided the bars for sporting events such as the Amateur Boxing,” said Head of Recreation Services, Sam Herridge.
“A huge thank you has to be made to Sueco for making all these events possible, and the Centre is grateful for the company’s on-going support over all these years. We are now looking forward to building a similarly excellent relationship with a new provider.”
