Jacket potato fans will be pleased to hear that Spud Man is visiting Guernsey next month.
Famed for his stuffed spuds that he sells from his food van in Tamworth, near Birmingham in England, Ben the Spud Man will be appearing as part of the line up at a local food festival.
A Table in Guernsey announced his impending visit over the weekend, with hundreds of comments, shares, and likes confirming that he will be a popular booking.
The Food Festival is taking place between 4 and 12 October, with the Street Food Festival component scheduled for Thursday 10 October between 11:00 and 19:00, at the Market.
20 different vendors are promised for that day alone, but those planning to go are already predicting there'll be big queues for Spud Man whatever else may be available.
The 'A Table in Guernsey' Food Festival is billed as an opportunity to discover the island's best produce.
Visiting and local chefs will be cooking, while local producer will offer tastings. There'll also be dinner events at hotels and a farmers' market.
Bertus Basson, Stephen Holland, and Stephen Scuffell have been confirmed as guest chefs, while Rocquette Cider, CI Liquor, Guernsey Dairy, and Little Big Brew Co. have all signed up to offer tastings.
The farmers' market will showcase small growers, hedge veg style produce and more.
The dinner events will be hosted by La Reunion, the OGH, the Duke of Richmond, and La Fregate.
As well as Spud Man, the street food festival will offer refreshments from local eateries including Fuku, Cooked by James Ferguson, Smokey Reds BBQ and more.
