A Souper Spooky Saturday

Sunday 13 October 2019

As Halloween is fast approaching, the Victorian Walled Kitchen & Garden is getting ready to celebrate in style with its "Souper Spooky Saturday".

The group are putting on an event next Saturday for families across the island, with spooktacular activities for children like face painting, a creepy craft cavern, a spook hunt and a hocus pocus of games.

The Garden's volunteers are also making soups using their vegetables and a range of cakes for people to enjoy.

The staple of the day though will be the pumpkin carving, to help people prepare to decorate their house for the scary season.

People who want to join in the fun can head down to the Victorian Walled Garden at Saumarez Park on Saturday 19 October. Activities will be going on between 11:00 and 15:00.

Parking will be open at Home Field. People are asked to remember to bring cash with them, as unfortunately the garden's volunteers cannot accept card payments.
