Guernsey's marine ambulance had to make a second trip to Sark in two days, to collect an injured patient who needed hospital treatment.
The emergency call came on Friday night, and was one of 22 the St John Ambulance Service received within 24 hours, marking another busy day for the crew and volunteers.
The Flying Christine III left St Peter Port harbour just after 20.20 following a request for paramedic assistance from the Sark doctor.
The Sark ambulance met the crew at the harbour and the casualty was transferred across to the Bessel before crossing back to Guernsey for treatment at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital Emergency Department.
A spokesperson for St John said they would like to thank the volunteer boat crew of the Flying Christine III who attended to this incident and the off-duty staff who were called back to work to maintain cover for the island.
