Second chance for students to watch Career Inspiration Summit

Monday 11 January 2021

A Career Inspiration Summit held by the Institute of Directors can now be viewed online by students who missed the event last month.

There were a number of sessions at the career-focussed event and each one can now be watched online.

“We want to encourage as many students as we can to watch the recordings from the Summit,” said IOD Chair, John Clacy. “We believe there are many students who would really benefit from the discussions that took place.”

All the sessions can be found online:

Little Islands, Big Picture – An exploration of Guernsey’s role internationally.

Make Your Purpose Pay – The founder of Olio discusses how to drive your passion.

Future of Work – The effects of Covid-19 on the future of work.

Personal Brand – Discussions on developing your own brand.

Journey to the Top – An opportunity to hear from seasoned professionals.

There are also a number of short films featuring Director of Bright Futures, Susie Crowder.

"We were very lucky to have great panellists who explored a variety of different industries and career opportunities on the island," said Mr Clacy. "We want students and school leavers to take advantage of this."
