A popular public art exhibition in the Sunken Gardens has been vandalised over the weekend.

The gardens in St James Street have played host to public art displays for the last few years.

However, the current exhibition was vandalised sometime between 23:30 on Saturday 17 October and 01:00 on Sunday morning. 

Anyone with information or who witnessed the vandalism is asked to contact PC 152 Taylor on 725111.

Alternatively, people can report anything they witnessed anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 11.
