Around £2,500 has been stolen from the Venture Inn after it was allegedly broken into on Friday night, but Police have already arrested a 34-year-old man in relation to the incident.
Among the money missing was cash set aside for the 'Open the Box' and 'Bonus Ball' competitions but in a post on Facebook, the pub said it was hoping to get some of the money back.
A Guernsey Police spokesman said: “We can confirm a 34-year-old man has been arrested and released on bail following a burglary at the Venture Inn in the early hours of January 12, where roughly £2,500 was stolen.
