Police in purple "substance" probe

The paintwork of a property in Grandes Capelles was damaged by an "unidentified purple substance", according to police.

Guernsey Police is currently investigating an incident which saw a property in Grandes Capelles Lane, St Sampson marred with what the police are calling an "unidentified purple substance".

"It has caused significant staining to the exterior paintwork and stone of the property," officers said. 

The damage was caused sometime between 13:00 on Sunday 9 August and 10:00 the following morning.
