The St Peter Port Douzaine has launched a competition to find the canine face of GY1.

The winning pooch will receive a professional portrait and print of themselves courtesy of Paul Mariess Photography.

They will also become the ‘face’ of all the St Peter Port Constables’ dog related promotions in 2021, starting with the annual call for dog tax payable in January 2021.

Open to all dogs with a St Peter Port postcode, parishioners are encouraged to send in pictures of their pets along with the dog’s name, breed and contact details to 'constables@stppcons.com'.

Entries can also be submitted by post to the St Peter Port Constables’ Office, Lefebvre Street, St Peter Port, GY1 1JS.

The competition closes on Boxing Day and the winner will be announced on Monday 4 January 2021.

The contest will be judged by Steve Byrne from the GSPCA.
