The Committee for Employment & Social Security will answer questions about its work at the latest public hearing organised by the Scrutiny Management Committee.
It takes place at the Castel Douzaine Room between 10:00 and 12:00 on 22 March - Tuesday next week.
A five-person panel will ask questions for the Scrutiny Management Committee: the Committee's President, Deputy Yvonne Burford, Committee members Deputies Simon Fairclough and John Dyke, States' member Deputy Bob Murray and former States' member Andrew Le Lievre, who sat on the Committee for Employment & Social Security for several years after a professional career in senior roles in social welfare.
The Committee for Employment & Social Security's delegation at the hearing is expected to be led by the Committee President, Deputy Peter Roffey, pictured top, who this week celebrated 40 years since he was first elected to the States. The Committee will also be represented at the hearing by other elected members and officials.

Deputy Burford, pictured top, said: "This hearing with the Committee for Employment & Social Security will focus principally on the Committee’s areas for action identified in the Government Work Plan. I welcome this opportunity to carefully examine the progress made to date."
Members of the public are welcome to attend the hearing but cannot participate. Anyone attending is requested to complete a lateral flow test beforehand.
