Newcomers Deputy Andrew Taylor and Deputy Sam Haskins have become the Vice Presidents of Development & Planning and Environment & Infrastructure respectively, following the first formal meetings of the new committees.
Deputy Taylor was given the DPA job following an unsuccessful bid to become the President of E&I. He also holds a place on Home Affairs.
Meanwhile, Deputy Haskins also holds a seat on the Committee for Education, Sport & Culture.
E&I President Lindsay De Sausmarez hopes Deputy Haskins will bring "energy, intelligence and practically" to the role:
"His background is in IT, property and the marine world, adding to the strength and diversity of this fresh new team," she said. "While I can provide some continuity of knowledge, having served on E&I for the past four years, my new Committee members bring to the table their own individual perspectives and plenty of energy and new ideas."

Most of the Vice Presidency roles have been given to new deputies, including Deputy Tina Bury in HSC, and Deputy Steve Falla in Economic Development.
Other committees will pick their Vice Presidents after their first formal meetings.
