The search for a missing man has been called off after he was found by police officers shortly before 10:30 today.
51-year-old James Giles is said to be "safe".
Mr Giles - known to friends as Jester - was reported missing early on Tuesday morning, after last being seen on Monday evening.
There had been no confirmed sightings of him for 48 hours, but earlier today police had confirmed that he had been detected on CCTV footage recorded near his home on Monday evening.
This helped officers by confirming what he was wearing when he was last seen.
Shortly after that CCTV footage was shred to social media by Guernsey Police, the force updated the public with the confirmation that Mr Giles had been found.
"James Giles has now been found safe by searching police officers," the post read.
"Thank you to all the members of the public who have been in touch in the last two days with information. We'd also like to thank supporting services such as Guernsey Civil Protection for assisting with the search."
