One taken to hospital after vehicle/motorcycle collision

Friday 25 June 2021

An RTC between a vehicle and a motorcycle resulted in one patient having to be taken to the Emergency Department for their injuries.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash by Kings Mills and Les Grands Moulins at around 16:00 on Thursday.

The blue light services remained there for almost two hours. One patient required medical treatment and had to be sent to the hospital for further care.

"St John Emergency Ambulance Service responded to a road traffic collision at Kings Mills on Thursday afternoon," a spokesman for the service confirmed.

"A double crewed paramedic ambulance attended. One patient was assessed and treated at the scene before being transferred to the Emergency Department at the PEH for further treatment."

On Wednesday afternoon, a vehicle was written off following a one-car crash into a wall at La Route des Capelles. The driver and passenger did not require hospital treatment and were discharged at the scene.
