'Joyriding youths' seen with stolen scooter

A group of youths have been seen riding a motor scooter stolen at the end of last week.

The black April SR50 was taken sometime between 20:00 on Thursday 25 April and 08:00 the following day from a property on Les Ozouets Road, St Peter Port.

While the bike, which has white and red parts, has since been found at Les Genats Estate, Guernsey Police don't know how it got there.

They say that "information received at this time suggests a number of youths have been seen using the motor scooter in the area."

The investigating officers are now looking for witnesses to the theft or anyone who saw the bike being ridden around. You should call PC 157 Wesley or alternatively Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
