Hundreds miss out on income support payments

Around 300 people haven't received their income support payments on time and will now have to wait until Monday to get them.

Social Security said some payments hadn't reached customers' accounts today and apologised for the delay.

Our Income Support App is currently offline. We are working to get this back up and running as soon as possible so please do bear with us.

All those who missed out this week will instead receive their payments "after midday on Monday", a spokesman for the States told Express.
