A horse rider has been thrown from her animal after an incident involving a car.
It happened on Thursday afternoon, between 14:45 and 15:00, along the Vazon coast road near Richmond Kiosk.
Guernsey Police have confirmed officers "are investigating an incident involving a horse and a car which resulted in the horse bolting and the rider being thrown off".
"Officers would like to speak with the driver of the vehicle involved and any witnesses who may have seen the incident, or who may have dash cam / CCTV available to view," said the spokesperson.
"If you have any information regarding this incident you are asked to contact PC 28 Matt Shields on 222 222 or to contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
The horse rider's mother has shared information about the incident on Facebook, confirming that her daughter has suffered injuries as a result which required hospital treatment.
The animal is believed to have been unharmed.
